Floor & Roof Joists
A perfect example of this is the I-Joist floor system. Not only is it strong and quiet, but it's also more efficient than traditional wood floors. Where a conventional floor would take two or three trees to build, the I-Joist floor system uses only one.

LVL or Beam
To create laminated veneer lumber (LVL) , thin sheets of veneer are laminated in a patented process. This results in a very high-strength building material that actually yields 50% more structural value than sawn lumber.

Using fast-growing trees that were of little structural value, such as aspen and poplar, are chipped into strands then recombined to make valuable lumber that won't crack, split or warp.

Roof Trusses
Pre-fabricated, pre-engineered roof trusses reduce jobsite labor costs and improve construction quality.
